The Varee International Programme at Varee Chiang Mai School is the latest advancement of the hugely successful Varee Chiang Mai schools, which provides an international standard education to students of 11 to 18 years of age.
We follow the UK pathway to education referred to as Checkpoint Key Stage 3. Checkpoint Key Stage 3 refers specifically to students aged between 11 to 14 years of age (Years 7,8 and 9 in secondary schools in the UK). The International Programme during Checkpoint Key Stage 3 prepares our students to study at IGCSE level when they eventually reach the age of 14.
The curriculum for our students aged from 14 to 16 is based on the IGCSE curriculum originally developed in the United Kingdom. This British based curriculum is highly acknowledged and recognised throughout the world as being the best route of study for this particular age group. Our students aged from 16 to 18 will also be following the British based curriculum referred to as A-Levels. Both qualifications are marked and set externally by the University of Cambridge and are much welcomed pre-requisite qualifications to pursuing a degree within any University around the world.
