We were recently visited by Teesside University. They gave a very interesting presentation on studying at the university which is very highly ranked for animation. Teesside University is a public university with its main campus in Middlesbrough, North East England. The university was founded in 1930. TeessideUniversity enjoys a long-standing and excellent reputation in the exciting fields of animation and visual effects. Teesside University is ranked as one of the top 20 places to study animation in the world by 3D World magazine, and our computer character animation and computer animation and visual effects courses are accredited by Creative Skillset, the UK’s Creative Industries' Sector Skills Council. Animation Career Review (ACR) also rates Teesside in the top 20 places to study animation in the world. It says, 'Let’s look at the facts: their graduates have gone on to work at Pixar, DreamWorks, Framestore, Sega, and Ubisoft on projects like Kung Fu Panda, Avatar, Mass Effect 2, Monsters University, Gravity, Iron Man 3, and the Grand Theft Auto series! 3D World ranked this university as one of the top 20 places in the world to study animation and we here at ACR definitely agree with their judgment! The School offers both undergraduate and postgraduate options for animation and game animation paths.
